AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is looking for volunteers who want to make a difference in people’s lives. You can help people who can’t afford to pay for professional tax preparation and often miss out on much-needed tax breaks and refunds.

Help your neighbors get the (tax) credit they deserve. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is looking for compassionate and friendly people to join our team of local volunteers for the upcoming tax season. Tax-Aide makes it easier for low- to moderate income and older taxpayers to file their tax returns and get the credits and deductions they’ve earned.

Client Facilitators
Client Facilitators welcome taxpayers, help organize their paperwork, and manage the overall flow of service.Tax Preparers and Reviewers
Tax Preparers interview a taxpayer and prepare the federal and state tax returns. Then a Quality Reviewer does a thorough review of the tax return and presents the final return to the taxpayer.Bilingual Interpreter
Speak a second language? We have a big demand for bilingual speakers in all roles, especially dedicated interpreters who can assist other volunteers.Technology or Communications Coordinators
Technology Coordinators manage computer equipment, ensure taxpayer data is secure, and provide technical assistance to volunteers. Communications Coordinators promote the program to prospective volunteers and taxpayers.Join the Team
